James Cochran - Class of 1928

James M. Cochran, 62, of Pocatello died Monday, September, 1972 at Bannock Memorial Hospital.  He had been paralyzed since May 1959 after an automobile accident.  He was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming on May 22, 1910, the son of Charles A. and Annie Christofferson Cochran.  He spent his childhood and attended schools in Montpelier.  He was a 1928 graduate of Montpelier High School and then began work for Union Pacific Railroad.  He transferred to Pocatello and was promoted to conductor in 1940.  He was a member of the LDS Church and was a member of the United Transportation Union.  He and Gula Robison were married November 25, 1931 at Randolph.  Survivors include his wife, one son and two grandsons.  Funeral services were held at Downard Chapel in Pocatello.
