James Raynold Shultis, 30, died Wednesday, April, 1980 at St. Anthony's Community Hospital in Pocatello following a sudden illness.  He was born December 24, 1949 in Anchorage, Alaska to Donald and Shirley Hershey Shultis.  At the time of his death he was working as a welder for Mark III Construction in Soda Springs.  He graduated from Bear Lake High School in 1968.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing.  He married Lois Christensen May 11, 1974.  He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Jamie, a son, Brady Don and his parents.  Funeral services were held in the Third/Fifth Ward Chapel in Montpelier.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
