LaVoy George Lyon, 46, passed away September 3, 2003 in St. Charles.  He was born March 1, 1957 in Montpelier to George and Velinda Orr Lyon.  He grew up in Liberty and attended school in Paris and Montpelier.  He loved the outdoors and all of its activities.  LaVoy worked in Alaska on the pipeline and then for the Union Pacific Railroad until 1987.  After returning from Alaska he married Cindy Michaelson of St. Charles on March 26, 1976 and was sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on May 21, 1997.  He enjoyed special times with his wife and family.  He is survived by his wife, two sons and two grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in St. Charles LDS Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Sharon Cemetery.
