ChyAnn Yvette (King) Leonard was called home by her Heavenly Father way too soon but for something very special as part of His plan for her. ChyAnn succumbed to injuries from an automobaile accident on November 13, 2013.

She was born on Nov. 23, 1991 to DeAnn (King) Bartschi. As a little girl Chy enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and enjoying the outdoors with her “daddy” Randy, mom and Coleman. She was always spending countless hours with her friends and family and very seldom took time to “slow down”.

ChyAnn received her GED in May of 2010, and in June of 2011 she married Tyson Leonard of Lyman Wyoming. Together they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Emma Ray. They recently celebrated Emma’s first birthday with friends and family gathered. Everyone that knew Chy knew she was a little “spit fire” and loved her endlessly anyway.

ChyAnn was preceded in death by Lawrence King (great grandfather), Vonda King (great grandmother), Rex Bartschi (grandpa) and Ann Kelsey (grandmother).

She is survived by her sweet baby girl Emma, her husband Tyson, her mother DeAnn Bartschi, Dad Randy Bartschi, biological father Justin Kelsey, mother and father in law Danna and Leon Leonard, Siblings Cole Bartschi, MaKayla (Larry) Kelsey Erickson and Chase Kelsey, sisters In law Niki and Bailee Leonard, grandparents DeVerl and Barbara King, grandma Anna Bartschi, grandfather Larry Kelsey, great granparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins who love her dearly.

Funeral services for ChyAnn were Nov. 16, in Montpelier. An account has been set up at Advantage Plus Credit Union at the request of friends for donations to be made to help cover funeral expenses. Donations can be made under the name of DeAnn Bartschi or ChyAnn leonard.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the many thoughts and prayers that have been extended to them throughout such a difficult time.
