Sarah Wilson - Class of 2009

Sarah Ann Wilson, 18, passed away in a tragic car accident on July 12, 2009, in Geneva, Idaho.

She was born on December, 19, 1990, to John Patrick and Sandra Lee Todd Wilson, in Renton, Washington. Sarah attended school in Kent at Cedar Valley, then at Blackfoot High School, and then got her high school diploma just recently from Bear Lake High, here in Montpelier, Idaho.

Sarah had many loves, and interests from porcelain dolls, hot wheels, animals, talking with friends and going to movies. Her greatest love was her daughter, Allissa Nichole Messenger, who was born on April 28, 2009.

Sarah was excited about her life after high school, and being a new mother, and her love and father of Allissa, Devin Michael Messenger. The couple was living in the Candlewood Apartments and raising their beautiful baby.

Sarah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Sarah was also known for her love of drawing, her gift for poetry, and her fantastic sense of humor.

Sarah is survived by her mother, Sandra Wilson of Montpelier, Idaho; boyfriend, Devin Messenger of Montpelier, Idaho; grandparents, John R. and Sandi K. Wilson of Summer, Wash., Lois and Mike Jones of Blackfoot, Idaho; uncle and aunt, Chris and Carrie Wilson of Eagle Mountain, Idaho; an aunt, Jennie Conyne of Seattle, Wash.; uncle and aunt, DeWayne and Nita Todd of Yakima Wash.; and one great-grandmother, Hope Samac of Blackfoot, Idaho; and a number of cousins. Sarah was preceded in death by her father, John Patrick Wilson, and is joined by her daughter, Allissa Nichole Messenger, and sister, Heather Marie Wilson, also both victims of the accident.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at noon at the Montpelier Stake Center, located on 340 N. Sixth St., Montpelier, Idaho. Friends may call prior to the service from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. There will be a night visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Matthews Mortuary on 702 Clay Street, Montpelier, Idaho. Interment will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
