Daniel could not wait any longer to see his grandma. He left us at the young age of 23 on Jan. 27, 2012 to be with her.
Daniel was born in Montpelier on July 20, 1988 to Zane and Susan (Marx) Wirth. He joined a family of three boys, Lynn, Dustin and Ed, a girl, Zana and 13 years later Alexandria was added to his family, and they have been rough-housing ever since. Daniel was a brother to so many other people. He was the kind of person who worked his way into your heart.
Daniel graduated from Bear Lake High School in 2003.
On April 6, 2010, Daniel met his world. Her name is Kindle Pearl Wirth. She made him and Kindra so happy. Daniel loved many things, but nothing could compare to his love for his daughter.
Daniel also loved the great outdoors and anything to do with them. All summer and fall he could be found up at camp. His dad loves chickens and Daniel loved getting him as many as he could. A person never had to beg him to go for a ride. Snowmobile, dirt bike four-wheeler, horse or just a truck, he was ready for any adventure.
Anytime you were with Daniel it was bound to be an adventure! He could always make a person laugh and have a good time. Calling Grandpa Marx’s house could even be a surprise! One never knew if he would answer and try to confuse you with one of his voices or convince you that you had called the wrong number! A night ending without Daniel getting hurt was unusual.
Daniel was a helper. Anything you needed he could do. Whether Zana was scared and called him in the middle of the night, tearing trucks apart with Dustin, Jon needed his sled fixed, Ronda needed help with the cows, or you had gotten yourself stuck, Daniel could always be counted on to be there in your time of need, unless you had a spider problem. The only thing Daniel was scared of was spiders!
Daniel broke many hearts when he left us, but he loved his grandma. She will keep him safe and help him watch over Kindle and the rest of the family until we return to them. Daniel, we all love you and miss you!! Rest in peace our crazy brother.
Daniel was preceded in death by Grandpa Wirth, Grandma Marx, Uncle Paul Marx, Uncle Roy Wirth and Denise Kallstrom.
Daniel leaves behind his beautiful baby girl, Kindle, his puppy pal, Sissy Lala, three brothers, Lynn Wirth, Dustin (Tiffany) Marx, Ed (Ronda) Wirth, two sisters, Zana (Stephen) Caywood and Alexandria Wirth. His parents, Zane and Susan Wirth. His Grandpa Clyde Marx and Grandma Flo Etta Wirth. Several aunts and uncles, but his favorite, Aunt Nancy Marx. She was so much more than an aunt to him. He also leaves behind many, many cousins. Jon Marx, Jeffrey Marx, Marlaina Johnson and Parker Marx are the ones in the Bear Lake area.
Funeral services will be held Feb. 4 at noon in the Third/Fifth Ward LDS Church in Montpelier. From 10 a.m. to noon there will be time to meet with the family. Redneck attire is acceptable. Daniel’s ashes will be taken to the mountains. No box could contain all of his energy!!
Services are under the direction of Matthew’s Mortuary.
