Gwenivere Dayton Bird Lyon, 84, joined her eternal companion on September 24, 2009 after passing away at the home of her daughter in Boise.  She was born on May 20, 1925 to Cyril G. Dayton and Myrtle Jane Toomer Dayton in Dingle.  She married William Oneal Bird on April 26, 1947.  She was later sealed in the Denver LDS Temple.  To this union was born two sons and a daughter.  She later married George Lyon on January 9, 1992 in Paris.  She was active in the LDS Church where she held various callings and served an LDS temple mission in Chicago.  Gwen loved quilting, crocheting, reading, playing cards and gardening.  She is survived by two sons, one daughter and 11 grandchildren.   Funeral services were held in the Montpelier Fourth Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Dingle Cemetery.
