Evan K. (Hank) Olson passed away Thursday, September 19, 2002 at the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born July 13, 1921 in Ovid to James Christian and Eliza Sorenson Olson.  He spent his life in Bear Lake Valley ranching, riding in rodeos and working phosphate mines in Georgetown and Soda Springs.  He married Fay Ames Sanders February 5, 1960.  He is survived by his wife, a son, five step-children and many grandchildren,  Funeral services were held in the Matthews Mortuary Chapel.  Burial was in the Ovid Cemetery.
