Don Humpherys - Class of 1938

Don Humpherys, 91, passed away March 30, 2010 in Montpelier.  He was born the ninth of 12 children to Samuel George and Christina (Sorensen) Humpherys on August 7, 1918 in Wardboro.  He attended schools in Wardboro and Montpelier, graduating from Montpelier High School and attended Idaho State University.  He married Osma Mae Price in the Logan LDS Temple on June 19, 1942.  They made their home in Dingle.  He was an active member of the LDS Church in the Dingle Ward. He enjoyed working in the temple along with his wife.  His life was spent working to support his family.  He was very talented but was best known for his butchering and carpentry skills.  He loved helping and giving to others.  He is survived by five children and 11 grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in the Dingle LDS Ward Chapel.  Interment was in the Dingle Cemetery.
