Death claimed Mrs. J. Mark Holmes formerly Gwen Stephens, and infant son on Thursday, October 1937.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stephens of Montpelier who formerly resided in Thatcher, Arizona.  She was 29 years of age and was born in Montpelier.  She graduated from Montpelier High School with the class of 1926.  She is survived by her husband and three daughters.  Funeral services were held in the Montpelier Third Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
