Lois Perkins Mumford, 26, wife of B. Vadier Mumford, died Friday January, 1947 in a Portland, Oregon hospital following the birth of a daughter two days before.  The daughter of the late W. Louis Perkins and Nellie Perkins of Montpelier she was born February 18, 1920 in Montpelier.  She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1938 where she was active in music and other activities.   Following her marriage November 12, 1941 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple she and her husband moved to Portland. She was an active worker in the YWMIA andSunday School both in Montpelier and Portland.  Besides her husband she is survived by three children.  Services were held in the Portland Stake Tabernacle.  Interment was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
