Dorothy Skinner Gortcinsky, 21, died suddenly at 2 PM Monday, December 22, 1947, at her home in Montpelier. The daughter of the late David Skinner and Bertha Skinner, she was born September 2, 1926 in Montpelier.  A life long resident of Montpelier, she graduated from Montpelier High School in 1945 and was a member of the LDS Church.  She was married to Richard E. Gortcinsky March, 9, 1945.  Besides her husband and mother she is survived by eight brothers and sisters, Herman Skinner, Montpelier, Clifford Skinner, Dingle, Mrs. Grenfall Davis, Bennington, Mrs. Warren McMurdy, Liberty, Betty Skinner and Charlie Skinner, both of Montpelier, Mrs. Vern Chugg, Soda Springs, and Mrs. Lee Darney, Dingle.  Services were conducted in the Montpelier First Ward Chapel.
