Max Jensen - Class of 1939

Max Herald Jensen, 31 years of age, died suddenly at his home in Salt I.ake City Sunday morning. December 24, 1950. The son of James and Naomi Phelps Jensen, he was born in Montpelier in 1919. He grew up in Montpelier, where he attended the grade and high schools, graduating from the latter with the class in 1939. He married Daisy Brackett in 1943 in Salt Lake City. He is survived by his widow and one son, James L. Jensen of Salt Lake. his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Merrill Lewis of Montpelier and Mrs. Orin Koberstein of Roseburg, Oregon; and three brothers. Everett Jensen of Idaho Falls, Richard Jensen, who is fulfilling a mission in Denmark; and Roger Jensen of Montpelier. Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake, following which the remains were brought to Montpelier, and services held today (Thursday) at two o'clock in the Third Ward chapel. Interment was in the Montpelier City Cemetery
