Don K. Jensen, 53, died at his home here Friday, April 9, 1982 following a lengthy illness.  He was born September 7, 1928 in Montpelier to Alfred O. and Ivy Kunz Jensen.  He married Carma Mattson May 5, 1947 in the Logan LDS Temple.  He was a lifelong resident of Ovid where he worked as a rancher.  He was also Bear Lake County assessor from 1966 to 1977.  He was active in many other civic organizations.   He was an active member of the LDS Church and had served as a bishop's counselor and as bishop of the Ovid Ward.  Survivors include his wife, five sons, a daughter and three grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in the Liberty LDS Chapel.  Burial was in the Ovid Cemetery.
