Gordon Lloyd Ipsen, 51, died Tuesday at the University Medical Center in Salt Lake City.  He was born in Montpelier on March 21, 1929 to Martin Lloyd Ipsen and Grace Ann Nebeker.  He married Cleora Ann Hayes in Montpelier on March 25, 1954.  He was a conductor with the Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years and a member of the United Transportation Union.  He belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Union Pacific Old Timer's Club, was a charter member of the Montpelier Jaycees Club and a former member of the Bear Lake Sheriff's Posse.  He loved to hunt, fish and was an excellent horseman.  Survivors include his wife, one daughter and two grandchildren.  Services were held at the Montpelier Third and Fifth Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
