Foster Kunz - Class of 1933

Foster Merlen Kunz passed away Tuesday, November 10, 1981 from acute leukemia.  He was born January 25, 1916 in Bern, Idaho to Alvin N. and Amy M. Kunz.  He married Helena Millard June 18, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  He served as Vice President of Industrial Relations for the Marriott Corp. in Washington DC for 29 years and as a special agent in the FBI for 10 years.  He attended Yale University on a fellowship and graduated from Utah State Agricultural College.  He served as Bishop of the Washington DC Ward for five years and for 18 years as Stake High Councilor.  His great spiritual strength and faith set an example for all.  Survivors include his wife, three sons, a daughter and three grandchildren.  Funeral was held at Deseret Mortuary.  Interment will be at the Kaysville Cemetery.
