Robert Feinaur - Class of 1926

Robert Ernest Feinaur, 74, died March 3, 1983 of a heart attack in Hood River, Oregon.  He was born June 14, 1908 in Sheffield, England to Christian F. and Sopie Schif Feinaur.  The family came to the United States in 1910 and settled in Montpelier where he graduated from high School.  In 1932 the family moved to Salt Lake City and he attended the University of Utah.  In 1934 he moved to Brooklyn and married Hildegard Niederlein, September 1, 1937.  The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple May 18, 1938.  She died December 23, 1981.  He was an active member of the LDS Church.  He served as counselor in the bishopric, as bishop, as president of the Young Men's MIA, as choir director, working with the scouts and many other church leadership capacities.  He is survived by four sons, a daughter and 17 grandchildren.   Funeral services were held in Hood River, Oregon.
