Keith Crane - Class of 1944

Keith Perkins Crane, 61, died Monday, July 27, 1987 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City of heart failure.  He was born June 26, 1926 in Bennington, Idaho a son of James Almon Artimus and Jessie Myrtle Perkins Crane.  He married Bonnie Jean Kunz March 12, 1954 in the Logan LDS Temple.  He was reared in Bennington and had lived in Layton, Utah for the past 30 years.  He attended public schools in Bennington and graduated from high school in Montpelier.  He was a member of the Layton 36th LDS Ward where he served in the Elder's Quorum presidency and was also a leader.  He was active in scouting.  He retired from Hill Air Force Base in January of 1985 after 30 years of service.  He was a veteran of World War II serving with the US Army in the South Pacific.  He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Layton.  Surviving are his wife, one son, one daughter and two grandchildren.  Services will be held at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary.  Burial will be in the Clearfield City Cemetery.
