Shirley L. Alleman, 69, died February 29, 1988 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.  She was born October 15, 1918 in Bennington a daughter of Hyrum Lester and Vera Mouritsen Lindsay.  She married Edgar Peter Alleman in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.  He died in July 1971.  She lived most of her life in Bennington.  She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a temple worker in the Logan Temple and taught in the auxiliaries.  She was also active in genealogy work.  She is survived by four sons and one daughter along with 21 grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in the Bennington LDS Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Bennington Cemetery.
