Byron Davis - Class of 1940

Byron Rigby Davis, 69, a former resident of Montpelier, died December 13, 1990 at his home in Sandy, Utah.  He was born June 2, 1921 in Bern and married Peggy Rae Black September 23, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  He graduated with a BS Degree in Accounting from the University of Utah and was a veteran of World War II where he served as an Air Force Navigator.  He retired after 30 years of service with US Forest Service.  He was a High Priest in the Union 21st Ward.  Survivors include his wife, three sons, a daughter and sixteen grandchildren.  Funeral services were held December 18 in the Union 21st Ward Chapel in Salt Lake City.  Interment was in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
