LaMar Price - Class of 1942

LaMar G. Price, 71, died August 5, 1995 of complications following surgery at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs.  He was born April 13, 1924 in Geneva to Thomas and Agnes Velma Walker Price.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1942 and went in the Army Air Corps where he served in the 15th Air Force.  He was a belly gunner in a B-24 bomber and flew over 30 missions over Germany.  He returned home after the war and later met and married Pauline Everett on December 31, 1948 in Geneva.  LaMar was a member of the LDS Church and also a member of the National Rifle Association.  LaMar is survived by one son and five grandchildren,  Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Montpelier Second Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
