Flora Lewis (Thomas) - Class of 1925

Flora Lucille Lewis Thomas, 90, passed away Thursday, July 10, 1997 at her home in Montpelier.  She was born October 7, 1906 the second of seven daughters born to David and Grace Bridges Lewis.  She was married to Ariel Lewis Thomas December 24, 1930 and spent most of her life living in Montpelier and Bloomington.  After graduation from the LDS Hospital Nursing she spent over 40 years working at her profession in hospitals both in Bear Lake and Caribou County.  She did beautiful crocheted tablecloths and afghans for her family and won many prizes in local and state fairs.  She was an active member of the LDS Church and worked for many years in ward and stake positions. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 15 in the Montpelier LDS Stake Center.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery with services under the direction of the Matthews Mortuary.
