Dallas Willard Dorney, 63, died Wednesday, June 24. 1998 at his home in Ogden of brain cancer. He was born April 11. 1935 in Dingle to Chancy Leon and Mary Skinner Dorney. He grew up in Dingle and graduated from Montpelier High School. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served a mission in Samoa.  He served in the US Army as an Assistant Chaplain. Dallas married Carma Jacobsen July 9, 1962 in the Logan LDS Temple. He loved horseback riding, camping and ranching. He worked for the LDS Bishop's Storehouse for many years. Funeral services were held Monday, June 29 in the Dingle LDS Chapel. Burial will be in the Dingle Cemetery with services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier.
