Jean Price (Gash) - Class of 1951

Jean Price Jacobsen Gash, 64, of Hurricane, Utah, and a former resident of Montpelier, died Friday, Oct 24, 1997 at Dixie Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah, after a long struggle with heart disease.
 
She was born May 12, 1933, in Rigby, Idaho, the daughter of Lamar and Theo Price.
 
She married Lorraine F. (Whitey) Jacobsen, was later divorced and then married Nicholas Gash.
 
She had a lovely singing voice that she shared on many occasions.  She was a gregarious and outgoing person who easily made friends wherever she went.
 
She is survived by her two children: Danny L. Jacobsen, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Lori (Neil) Erickson, Paradise, Utah and three sisters:  Joyce Jewell of Paradise, Utah; Karen (Geoffrey) Watts of Albuquerque, NM; and Diane Bateman of Pocatello; one brother, Brent (Joyce) Price of Montpelier; and six grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father and one infant son, Stuart Jacobsen.
 
She is buried in the Montpelier Cemetery.
