Word was received here Tuesday of the death of LaRee (Billie) Pendrey Barnes which occurred this morning October 1955 in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.  She had been hospitalized for five weeks and the cause of death was cancer of the liver.  She was born in Montpelier 36 years ago, the only daughter of the late William Pendrey and Mrs. Myrtle Pendrey Low.  She attended grade school and high school in Montpelier, later moving to Salt Lake City where she was married to Harold S. Barnes, Jr. June 23, 1947.  She is survived by her husband, her mother and a sister.  Funeral services will be held in the Parleys LDS Second Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Salt Lake City.
