Marvin Dixon - Class of 1962

Montpelier Man Killed; One Injured MONTPELIER (UPI) - One Montpelier man was killed and mother seriously injured Wednesday night, August 24, 1966, when their car crashed into a semi-trailer truck stalled across a dirt road near Geneva, Idaho. The victim was identified as Marvin Dixon, 22. In.serious condition today at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital was Dennis Williams, 20. State Police investigator Eddie Chadwell said Shenley Sorensen, Provo, Utah, was cited for failure to place flares by his stalled truck. Investigators said Sorenson had taken a wrong road and attempted to turn when he got stuck. The two young men apparently failed to see the truck in time to stop.
