Eveline Dray (Egli) - Class of 1931 VIEW PROFILE

Eveline Minnie Dray Egli, 70, died February 24, 1980 in a Salt Lake City hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 16, 1909 in LeGrande, Oregon, to Henry and Minnie Christofferson Dray. The 1920 and 1930 censuses show her as residing in Montpelier with her mother Minnie Dray and her grandmother Sena Christofferson. She married Albert Lorenzo Egli Jun 23, 1935 in Soda Springs. That marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple January 22, 1939.  They lived in Soda Springs at the time of Albert's death July 20, 1955. She was an active member of the LDS Church and held several positions during her lifetime. She was also a very active member of American War Mothers. She is survived by one son, Wayne A., Tracy, Calif.; three granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; and one brother, Henry Dray, Albany, N.Y. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 29, 1980 at 1 p.m. in the Montpelier Third and Fifth Ward chapel. Friends may call at Matthews Mortuary Thursday evening 7-9 p.m. and Friday at the mortuary for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Montpelier City Cemetery.
