Lois Stuart (Teuscher) - Class of 1924

SALT LAKE CITY ? Lois Stuart Teuscher, 94, former Pocatello resident and longtime educator, died early Tuesday morning, April 17, 2001, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born November 5, 1906, at Montpelier, Bear Lake, Idaho, to Louis T. and Olga Pearson Stuart, the eldest of seven children.

She married Charles Teuscher December 24, 1938, at Montpelier, ID. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1988.

She was educated at Idaho State University and the University of Utah. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds. She taught the 4-H sewing class, and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.

She is survived by a daughter, Lyn T. Hofhine; a son, Stuart Teuscher; nine grandchildren, Lisa, Gordon, Geoffrey, Jason, Heather and Tiffany Goodenough, Holly Hofhine, Tayna Teuscher, Teresa Totten and Todd Teuscher; six great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Anthony, Jadian, Rachelle and Amanda.

She is now happily reunited with her husband, Charles. We'?ll miss you.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, April 21, 2001, at 1 p.m. in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Pocatello, with Bishop Bart Reed officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Henderson-Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 North 15th Ave., Pocatello, ID.
