Edward A. Jensen - Class of 1932

Edward Alfred Jensen, 86, died Sunday, October 17, 1999 at his assisted living residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico after a long illness. He was born May 22, 1913 in Montpelier, Idaho, to Anthony O. and Anna C. Jensen.

He married Martha M. Hackbarth December 25, 1938. His wife preceded him in death in 1985.

As a life long resident of Montpelier, he was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. He moved to Albuquerque last year to be close to family.

He was an avid fisherman and would have been on a stream in these latter days of his life if his health had allowed it.

He is survived by his daughter, Dixie Ann Shepherd of Pocatello, Idaho; a son, A. Lee Jensen of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Cecelia Watson of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Cynthia M. Shepherd Jensen of Albuquerque; great-granddaughters, Amber Rae and Ashlee Dawn.

Graveside services will be held October 21 at 1 p.m. in the Montpelier Cemetery
