Seldon Samuel Bridges, age 92 of Wellsville, passed away on Friday, Dec. 26, in Bountiful. Seldon was born Jan. 6, 1916, in Montpelier, Idaho, to Thomas and Elnora Kent Bridges. Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, married the love of his life, Betty Jean Boyack in the Salt Lake Temple on Aug. 26, 1940. He had a few great loves in his life, particularly his large family including 60 grandchildren, football and his prized Suffolk sheep. He was survived by his children, Carolyn (Tad) Jeppesen, Kent (Debra) Bridges, Sandra (Terry) Dubois; daughters-in-law, Laurie Bridges and Lynn (Jill) Bridges. Two of his children, Dennis and Susan Bridges, are enjoying a happy reunion with him in heaven at this time. Seldon was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Betty, of 65 years on April 4, 2006.

Services will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. with a graveside service following at 3 p.m. at Lindquist and Son's Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., in Ogden, Utah, on Jan. 2, 2009.
