Margaret Loveday (Williamson) - Class of 1937

Deseret Morning News, 10/30/05

Margaret Loveday Williamson passed away peacefully Saturday morning surrounded by her adoring family. She was loved by all who knew her and always found joy in life. She was born March 2, 1919 to Kem and Delilah Loveday and was the third of five children. She married Claude D. Williamson April 11, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised six children in a warm and caring home.

Margaret was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed working in all organizations but spent most of her time doing Relief Society service. She served two missions, one in the Southern States, and one in Palmyra, New York Visitors Center. Mother loved her family and was always excited to share stories of her 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. We, her children, are thankful for her loving example and guidance in our lives.

She is survived by her children, Claudia Marie Weston, Kem L. Williamson (Judy), Shannon Olsen (Arthur), Laurel Weston (Daniel), and James Williamson (Trudy); sisters, Hazel Peterson and Marie Aland (Blake); grandchildren and great-grand-children. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Claude D. Williamson; son, Don Williamson; and son-in-law, Paul F. Weston. Services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2005, 10 a.m. at Mount Olympus 10th ward, 3610 East 3510 South. Interment will be held Wednesday 3 p.m. at the Montpelier Cemetery in Montpelier, Idaho.
