MONTPELIER - Emma Hope Ansell, 79, died Friday, June 23, 2000, in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 1, 1920, in Montpelier to William John and Clara Maybelle Foss Ansell. She was raised in Montpelier and graduated from Montpelier High School.

She worked for Mountain Bell and AT&T for 40 years. She belonged to the Eastern Star and was a member of the LDS Church. During her life Hope enjoyed her family and friends, reading and crocheting. She will be missed by many.

Hope is survived by one sister, Mary Carol Franks of Ogden, Utah; a nephew, three nieces and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hannah (Nan) and Gloria and her parents.

A private family graveside will be held Tuesday, June 27, at 1 p.m. in the Montpelier Cemetery.
