GENEVA, Idaho — Ernest G. Bischoff, 78, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, in Idaho Falls after suffering from a stroke. He was born June 29, 1924, to Alfred and Eliza Teuscher Bischoff in Geneva, Idaho, where he lived all his life except for a short time while serving in the Army during World War II.
On June 24, 1953, he married Nadine Tonks in the Idaho Falls Temple. He was a lifetime rancher and also drove the school bus for 36 years. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ernest is survived by his wife; two sons, Dale and Jeff; three daughters, Janet (Daron) Bradford, Diane (Stephen) Tippetts and Annette; six grandchildren; two sisters, Frankie (Elmer) Krogue of Blackfoot; and Ruby (Richard) Rowland of Montpelier. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters and a grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, at noon in the Geneva LDS Chapel. Burial will be in the Geneva Cemetery.
