Louise Trussel (Leake) - Class of 1944

Ogden Standard Examiner, Monday, July 24, 2000.

OGDEN - Louise Trussel Leake, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2000 in Salt Lake City. She was born June 19, 1926 in Montpelier, Idaho, a daughter of Fredrick and Rosa Hollenweger Trussel.

Louise was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She worked at Hill Air Force Base for 36 years and held many positions. She received numerous awards including the coveted Performance Award and OOAMA Commanders Award for Outstanding Personnel Manager of the Year.

Louise loved deeply and cherished her family and friends. She was an incredible dancer and had a love for music and art. She enjoyed golfing, drawing, shopping, dancing, laughing, decorating, sharing and giving. Her gentle, caring heart touched so many lives.

Surviving are her sister, Alice (Dr. Charles E.) Foster, Salt Lake City; her extended family and her friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her husbands, Reid Bergner and Thomas Leake; her son, Larry; three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Logan City Cemetery.
