Deorr Bischoff - Class of 1944

MONTPELIER - DeOrr Bischoff, 73, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999 in the University Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah following a long illness.

He was born Jan. 6, 1926 in Geneva, Idaho to David and Minnie Lashbrook Bischoff.
He married Cherie Dee Sparks on Nov. 19, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He ran a sheep ranch in Geneva, and worked as a carpenter for many years until he hired on at the Union Pacific Railroad as a clerk, where he remained until he retired in 1981.

DeOrr is survived by his wife, Cherie, of Montpelier; two daughters, Kristy Lin and Ralph Brown of Sandy, Utah, Kandy Dawn and Brett Hymas of Montpelier; five grandchildren, Collin, Shea and Yardin Hymas, and Sean and Kimberly Brown; two brothers, Lavern of Vancouver, Wash., Douglas of Salt Lake City, Utah; and one sister, Gladys Bischoff of Powder Springs, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, George, Ray, Willis, Claude, Archie, and three sisters, Florence, Genevieve and Mary Jane.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 19, at 1 p.m. in the Montpelier Stake Center at 340 North Fifth Street. Burial will be in the Montpelier Cemetery, with services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier.
