Nola Alleman - Class of 1947

Nola Alleman 1928 ~ 2011 Our beloved sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Oct 3, 2011. She was born November 7, 1928 in Bern, Idaho to Edwin L. and Vera H. Alleman. She graduated from Montpelier High School then attended BYU where she graduated in Secretarial Science. She taught English and Typing for one year in Downey, Idaho.
 
Nola served a 2 year mission in the Swiss/Austria Mission. Nola has been a faithful and active member of the Church her whole life. She devoted her time and talents to doing family history and genealogy. Nola worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Church Administration Building. She worked with the Council of the Twelve, and later in the Office of the First Presidency. She loved her work and served faithfully for 40 years, retiring in 1994.
 
Preceded in death by her, parents, sister Shirley Midgley, and brother Larry G. Alleman. Survived by brothers Arvel (Arlene) Alleman, Jim Midgley, sisters Doreen Wells, Roma Robison, Karolyn Alleman, and many nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2011, at the Rose Park Ward, 760 N. 1200 W. The family wishes to thank The Wentworth at Draper for the care and concern they provided her.
