Ted Hill - Class of 1958

Ted Frank Hill, 60, of Soda Springs, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2001, at home.

He was born April 1, 1940, at Bloomington, Idaho, the son of Clarence and Thelma Wilkes Hill.

He married Bonnie Stoor December 30, 1958, in Soda Springs. They were later divorced.

He was raised and educated in Montpelier, graduating from Montpelier High School; he moved to Soda Springs in 1958.

He had worked at Central Farmers, State Highway Department, City of Soda Springs, Caribou County Landfill and recently as the custodian of the Senior Citizens Center.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ted enjoyed fishing, baseball and his grandchildren.

He is survived by three sons and one daughter and their spouses, Kelly and Kim Hill, Craig and Sally Hill, Kevin Hill, all of Soda Springs, and Debby and Charles Hill, Lava Hot Springs; also 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Tracey Schaffer, Montpelier. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hill, and two sisters, Toni Lyon and Beverly Kunz.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 15, at 1 p.m. at the Hooper LDS Chapel. Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home, Soda Springs.
