Blake Alleman - Class of 1962

NOUNAN - Blake David Alleman, 55, died Monday, May 24, 1999 at his home in Nounan.
 
He was born Nov. 10, 1943 in Montpelier, Idaho to Lester and Rilma Orr Alleman. He attended schools in Nounan and Montpelier, graduating in 1962 from Montpelier High School. He served a mission for the LDS Church from November 1962 to November 1964 in the New England states.
 
He attended trade school at ISU in Pocatello. He was a member of the Army Reserves for six years.
Blake married Diane Thompson in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on Oct. 23, 1968. They are the parents of three daughters.
He worked for RefChem Construction, Kennecott in Salt Lake City, and Solutia (formerly Monsanto) where he retired in March 1999. He loved horses, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
 
Blake is survived by his wife, Diane; three daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Barry Bergholm, Danyelle and Ryan Spencer, Amber and Jody Smith; six grandchildren, Shelby, Brooke, Whitney, Darcy, Shalayne and Shawnee; his parents, Lester and Rilma Alleman; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Leah Thompson; two brothers, Doyle and Kathy Alleman, Ron and Deb Alleman; two sisters, LaNeta and Robert Quintero, Carol and Milt Hayes; four brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 28, at 1 p.m. in the Georgetown LDS Chapel. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery.
