Charles Clark Gregory was born in Perryton, Texas on August 20, 1947, the son of Arthur Charles and Orel Genevieve Collins Gregory. He graduated from Montelier High School in 1965. He enlisted in the US Navy after graduation and was an aviation radar technician. He was killed in an explosion and fire on the USS Forrestal on July 29, 1967 during the Vietnam war. His name is on the Vietnam Veterans Wall of Honor in Washington DC, information regarding which can be seen at http://www.vvmf.org/Wall-of-Faces/19953/CHARLES-C-GREGORY  He was buried in the Mountain View Cemetery in Pocatello, Idaho.
