Anna Marie Welker (Wineriter) - Class of 1967

A joint funeral service for Anna Marie Welker Wineriter and Frank Duane Wineriter was held on Monday, March 27th, 2000 at the Sandy Utah East Stake Center located at 9636 South 1700 East in Sandy, Utah. Internment was at Larkin Sunset Gardens located at 10600 South 1700 East in Sandy.

The couple passed away at their Sandy, Utah home on March 22, 2000.

Anna Marie was born February 7, 1949 in Montpelier, Idaho to Evangeline Marie Peterson and Wilburn
Corlestis (Gold) Welker. She attended school in Montpelier and graduated from Montpelier High School in
1967. She moved to Salt Lake City following graduation and attended Beauty College. Anna was an active
member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in the Relief Society and the
Primary Organizations.

She loved, and was loved by all the neighborhood children. She was devoted to her mother, Evangeline who
recently became a resident of Crosslands Skilled Nursing Facility in Sandy, Utah.

Frank Duane Wineriter was born October 22, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Irene Atwood and Franklin
Gregg Wineriter.

Anna and Duane were married on May 14, 1970 at Ely, Nevada. Anna has worked for 21 years as a
bookkeeper for Wasatch Cabinet and Furniture in West Jordan, Utah. She was a devoted, punctual, hardworking employee. She enjoyed doing family research and genealogy and was very proud of her pioneer
heritage. She loved bears and had a large collection of all kinds.

Duane worked as a carpenter and had been retired from construction work for the past 10 years. He was disabled after a fall from a building he was working on in Salt Lake City.

Anna and Duane were preceded in death by their son Marc Alan Wineriter on June 7, 1993. Duane was also preceded in death by a son Greg.

Anna is survived by her mother, Evangeline Welker.

Duane is survived by his sons Duane, David, and Jay and his daughter Nancy; his brothers Ed and Robert
Wineriter; his sisters Marlene Ciarus, Betty Schultz, and Maxine Galvez; his half-brothers Florin and Gale.
