William Stoddard - Class of 1964

William Stoddard

Bill returned home to his Heavenly Father on March 9, 2013 after several years of COPD. He is going to be missed by many! Bill began his life on earth in Montpelier on Aug. 1, 1944. He was the fourth child in the home of Lynn S. and Donna Knutti Stoddard and was later joined by three more siblings. He attended school in Georgetown and later in Montpelier. He soon learned the value of working hard and the love of helping others. These two talents of his blessed many throughout his life.

A few of his accomplishments included being a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 28 years, rescuing broken bicycles, mending them and passing them on to others. He was also gifted with the ability to tell the funniest jokes.

He is survived by his daughters, Denise of Pocatello and Tina of Boise; his son, Dwayne of Pocatello; brothers, Kent (Mary) Michael of Paris, Dale Stoddard of Riverton and Donald (Jane) Stoddard of St. George; sisters, Carol Alleman of Centervilie, Utah, Nancy (Glenn) Hunter of Georgetown, and Sherrey Vandermuss of Cokeville; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed.
