Donna Grunig (Parker) - Class of 1955

Donna Lee Parker, 76, returned home to her Father in Heaven on March 28, 2013. She was surrounded by her family. Donna was born Oct. 8, 1936 to Charles and Esther Grunig in Montpelier, Idaho. She was the youngest of seven children. She married the love of her life, Eugene Parker on June 28, 1957. They were later sealed together in the Logan temple. Eugene and Donna made their home in Montpelier where they raised their two boys, Kelly Parker and the late Terry Parker.

Donna loved good food and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Her passions were painting, embroidering, crocheting, and tending to her yard. Her favorite pastime included fishing and taking rides with her husband in the mountains to see the many beautiful sights. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by many.

Donna was preceded in death by her son, Terry Parker, Parents, Charles and Esther Grunig, Sisters, Wyoma (Tillman) Borem, Yvonne (Max) Williamson, Brothers, Pershing (Melba) Grunig, Jack (Helen) Grunig, James Grunig. She is survived by her husband, Eugene, son Kelly (Lisa) Parker, brother, Ronald (Shannon) Grunig, granddaughters Jessica (Jason) Sparks, Whitney Parker, and two great-grandsons.

Funeral services were held on April 1 at the Montpelier 1st Ward LDS Chapel.
