Donna Marie Wilcox - Class of 1960

Donna Marie Wilcox, 70, died peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday morning, May 7, 2013, at The Willows Retirement and Assisted Living Center in Blackfoot. Marie was born in Montpelier, Idaho, on May 10, 1942, to Earl Raymond and Donna Robison Wilcox. She grew up there and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1960.

After furthering her education, she enjoyed many years of working in the business field in Montpelier and Salt Lake City before moving to Beaverton, Ore., where she retired with Kaiser Permanente Insurance. Marie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served valiantly in many different capacities, including a mission to Florida. Throughout her life, Marie's gifts of compassion and unconditional love blessed the lives of many. In her quiet way, she helped to ease the burdens and fill the needs of those around her. Marie was blessed with many talents and had a great love for music. Her beautiful voice inspired many and is a precious memory to her family. She was a very positive person and had a fun sense of humor. Her family was the most important thing to her. She loved spending time with them, gave strength where needed and was a steadying force in their lives. She will be greatly missed.
