Irene Hillier (Miller) - Class of 1952

TAYLOR - Irene Joyce Hillier Miller, 70, passed away Friday, May 7, 2004 at her home from pancreatic cancer. She was born January 30, 1934 in Geneva, Idaho, the daughter of Louis L. and Elsie Clara Boehme Hillier.

On December 4, 1953 she married Rollo Larsen Miller. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.

She was a member of the Kanesville Whiterail L.D.S. Ward in West Haven. She held many positions in the Church and was currently serving as the Relief Society President in the Peachtree Branch.

She was active in PTA and 4H. She is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Rollo; three sons and two daughters; Blake and Diane Miller, Bluffdale, UT; Wayne and Michele Miller, Hooper, UT; Sue and Steve Stewart, St. George, UT; Keith and Bonnie Miller, Layton, UT; and Connie and Dave Collier, Layton, UT. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and eight brothers and sisters; LaRena Saxton, St. Charles, ID; Darrell and Annette Hansen, Geneva, ID; Phil and Bernice Homer, Hailey, ID; Jerry and Judy Sparks, Pocatello, ID; Diane Hillier, Sunnyvale, CA; Lou and Carolyn Hillier, Geneva, ID; Steve and Gloria Parrish, Sparks, NV and Jim and Jane Hillier, St. Charles, ID.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra, her parents, and one brother, Tommy J.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the Kanesville Stake Center, 4555 West 4000 South, West Haven with Bishop Jeff Charlesworth officiating. Interment, Geneva Cemetery, Geneva, Idaho.
