Andre Dimick - Class of 1952

James Andre Dimick, 53, of Nampa, died Tuesday, March 8, 1988, at his home of cancer. Mr. Dimick was born April 23, 1934, at Montpelier, Idaho, to Donald (b. 17 Apr 1898, d. 22 Oct 1976) and Anita Isidorine Antonia Gay Dimick (b. 29 May 1904, d. 13 Nov 2001), where he was reared and educated. He attended Idaho State University for two years. He married Norene Williams on Jan. 9, 1956, at Pocatello. Since 1963, they had made their home at Nampa. For the past 21 years, he had owned and operated Andre's Beauty Salon, and at one time, owned two other salons and a beauty school at Nampa. He was a member of the Nampa 4th Ward LDS Church. He really enjoyed athletics.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Tamara Gay Dimick Daniels, who passed away in 1976. Survivors included his wife, Norene Dimick of Nampa; a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Kae and Daniel Salin of Nampa; a son, Russell Andre Dimick of Nampa; his mother, Anita Dimick of Montpelier; three brothers, Roger Dimick of Portland Oregon, Donald Bruce Dimick of Lake Jackson Texas and Dean Dimick of Allentown Pennsylvania; a sister, Yvonne Dimick Coroles of St. George Utah; and three grandchildren, Aaron Kae. Andrea Dawn and Jacob Dean Salin, all of Nampa.

He was buried at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho, plot Garden of Memory lot 106 space 4.
