My condolences to Shauna and the rest of the Clark family. I knew Virgil from our earliest elementary school days and have many memories of growing up in Georgetown and Nounan. Virgil was a good friend to all who knew him.

From my earliest memories, Virgil was a good friend. I recently found a photo of him and me taken up Left Hand Canyon at the Beaver dams on our first overnight (alone) fishing trip. We were maybe 12! Over the years, he popped up here and there in my life to say hello ...even in Alaska! He was an integral part of our Georgetown & Nounan group and of my fond memories growing up there. My deepest condolences to Shauna and his family.

Certainly a real loss.  I remember when I began high school in Montpelier after attending eigth grade in Paris, My dad told me I should get to know Virgil Clark...that he would be a good friend.  How true that was!  We had great times through school, and served as each other's best man at our weddings.  That friendship continued for many years, and I am sad to say that contact dimished over the latter years as we lived far apart.

I have fond memories of Virgil, and send all my love to Shauna at this time in her life.
