Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments

Attended BYU for 2 years, transferred to Utah State & graduated in Business Education in 1965. Lived in Riverside, CA, where my husband completed his PhD. Lived in Vernal, Utah, for 6 years and then moved to Moses Lake, WA, to start a business and have been here ever since (going on 38 years. Wow, we are old-timers!) I taught business subjects at our community college for 18 years. We are active in the LDS church: Vaughn was stake president for 10 years and then we served two missions--one in Palmyra, NY, temple. We have loved traveling and have enjoyed most the countries we have visited where our ancestors had emigrated from.

School Story

Montpelier High School was a great school to attend. I remember especially Christine Michaelson, who took me under her wing when I showed an aptitude for shorthand and helped me increase my skill. Even though it is outdated and unused in the business world now, I have used it to take down baby blessings and other family events and so it's been a fun skill to have.==I remember those crazy sugar-stiffened slips we wore under our felt skirts that would loudly crunch and push pencils off desks, as we went down the aisle between desks. (Who knew the 50's were going to become so "famous.")==Dancing the jitter-bug was always fun. Many special friends and memories of high school days!

I'm feeling sad because I probably won't be able to make it to the reunion. Vaughn's health is giving us challenges and he just doesn't have what it takes to travel & I can't leave him. I'm sure you'll have a great time. How I would love to sit down and have a long chat with you. You have always been a very special friend!

Hi Larry! I was so sorry to hear about LaRae's passing. She was such a special friend. We had some great times back in "the day"!
